Milwaukee kid is in really big trouble...

According to another news station, the now-16 year old kid has been in trouble with violent crimes starting when he was 12.

Milwaukee teen leads Fond du Lac police on chase in stolen car

A 16-year-old from Milwaukee is under arrest after leading Fond du Lac police on a high-speed chase. Witnesses say the incident was like an episode of the TV show “Cops.”

Bryce Dille was stopping at a Kwik Trip Wednesday night for a little caffeine. He says, “I went to get a cup of coffee because I was kind of tired, but the adrenaline kind of kept me up after.”

That’s because as he was leaving he saw police involved in an altercation. Authorities tell us, they were trying to stop a suspicious car, reported stolen from Milwaukee tuesday night when the suspect rams a squad and takes off.

According to Dille, “I kind of saw the cop cars and initially thought it was a routine traffic stop, and then once I saw the one officer had his weapon drawn is when I kind of knew something was up.”

The suspect led police on a nearly eight mile high-speed chase through Fond du Lac. He first went eastbound on Johnson Street before making a U-turn and heading back west. The driver eventually crashed the car, leaving a wake of damage.

Carol Wetzel lives near the crash site. She says, “The car, it hit a tree, a mailbox, then it hit another mailbox, a light post and the mailboxes were gone.”

But the teen’s crime spree wasn’t over as the he then jumped out of the car and tried to run away. That’s when witnesses tell us a police K9 squad car drove up onto the yards after the teen.

“He stopped short of that other second tree, opened the door and let the dog out, and then I thought well, that’s it for the kid,” says Alberta Blanchette, who watched it all unfold in her front yard.

The K9 did stop the suspect, who suffered a dog bite. It’s the only injury in all of the destruction, an incident police said they needed to get under control because of how dangerous the suspect was.

“Showing utter disregard for human life by ramming squad cars intentionally to try and get away, this subject needed to be stopped,” says Assistant Chief Steve Klein, Fond du Lac Police Department.

Chase if the perp is driving recklessly like that. They simply stop driving so fast and catch up with him later. They actually put our safety above apprehending a criminal.

We had an episode just like this story here on Tuesday. It took a little longer to catch the guy, but no one got hurt.

The way he was driving, could have been far worse.

And it started with a carjacking.
