8. He did the best job at the Firefighters' Union event. They loved him, which is a great sign.

44% of members are Republicans and all the Democrats did better than al the Republicans, except for King. Kings's a big first responder advocate.

Anyway, it was good news for our sde all around, but especially for O'Malley.

In the minutiae dept., that was the first time in at least 20 years that I've heard "ideologically" pronounced the way I learned it! Most people pronounce it as though it were spelled idea-ologically.

VP this time. Bernie will be 78ish after his first term and O'Malley will be ready to move into the WH! He'll still be young enough for two terms.
