More black men are behind bars or under the watch of the criminal justice system than there were enslaved in 1850, according to the author of a book about racial discrimination and criminal justice.

Also heard on Jeff Ross Comedy Central show he did from a prison that one out of one hundred Americans are incarcerated.

Why are so many AfAm males in prison?

HAS to be ONE of two reasons:

1. either African Americans are born inferior to everyone else, are more prone to violence and criminal behaviour

OR

2. they are disproportionately and unfairly imprisoned!

I insist that everyone answer this question.

Please, not just on DU but in America.
