if you haven't already done so. One of the most important books of the last 25 years. Piketty is brilliant. A little dry, but eminently readable and the last section of the book is one of the most far-reaching proposals I have heard in decades.

Keynesian with a lot of stats. I guess that's what passes for "radical economics" now days.

He seems to go out of his way to ground his proposed solutions in historical terms that are comprehensible to economists that aren't crazy reichwing shills. I think there is a lot of sense in his proposals.
