Like GD ever has just one controversy at any given time. Is it about the banned member? The fight between people over civil rights vs economic justice or the person that was on the cover of the new Vanity Fair?

Fence sitters, how I hate them

You do realize that "if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice".

I also hate that I cannot find a clip of the proper scene in "Dogma"

sort of like Bill, or Ted, I answer many things with song quotes, but sometimes also movie quotes or book quotes. Usually with a YT video.

Like I tell people on FB, I really wanted to be Wolfman Jack when I grew up, so linking to music videos is my way of playing DJ.

And they are one of my favorite bands. Mr liberty and I were brought together by a love of music in general and Rush one of the "in particulars"; he was a band geek, me a chorus geek, we both grew up in families where music was a central part of life and have carried that forward. Between the music and Monty Python, we were made for each other, lol!

No pleasure, no rapture, no exquisite sin greater... than central air.

FROM IMDB in relation to your quip :

Azrael: Ah, come on! Don't tell me you NEVER questioned the judgement, Serendipity.

Serendipity: No. It never bothered me. So you were an artist! Big deal! Elvis was an artist. But that didn't stop him from joining the service in time of war. And that's why he's The King, and you're a schmuck.

Which then works okay if your opinion is in favor of the status quo.

Not so well for the people looking for a do-over or take-back.

Time reversal technology would be so handy, maybe the Omega 13 could be activated.

the adage, "If you don't have anything nice to say, then dont' say anything at all". There is absolutely no implied consent there...in fact it's more of admission in the other direction....you dislike the person or the action etc but would rather not say it out loud. THAT is not consent.

explain to me the nature of the consent, should the question be "Hillary or Sanders" and my response is that "I have a strong opinion, I just dont' want to say it out loud". Just what am I consenting to?

unless the Sanders people work like heck, Hillary wins the nomination in a cake walk.

If you keep silent, you are consenting to that.

Of course, if you are like me, and have the opposite (or is it the reverse?) of savoire faire, then by opening my mouth I can perhaps convince people to do the opposite of what I want.
