1920* Women have had the Constitutional right to vote for less than 100 years. Hillary wants to protect all our voting rights.
I am a woman, Hillary has my back and I have hers.

(83,708 posts)Make sure you watch that video! It is phenomenal. I posted it a while back in HoF!
Gotta say, I love women for their grace, beauty and indomitable spirit and strength.
I say that as a straight woman.

(114,904 posts)nor do i believe for a nano second that she cares more for the vulnerable than the powerful. In addition she doesn't care enough about the party, ethics or appearances to have given up such minor things as donations to her foundation from foreign governments or holding to a signed agreement she made with the WH. And that's just for starters.
Buh bye.

(54,770 posts)evidence money received from abroad did not go for the stated purpose of the Foundation, which is quite worthy?
And, i wonder why you would gripe about the things the Foundation does.
cali
(114,904 posts)conflicts of appearance that she is wholly responsible for creating, says one Hell of a lot. It's an indictment of character. And I haven't said jack about the worthiness of th foundation. That irrelevant to the points I'm making.

If there was any question that RW talking points are used here, this just blew that out of the water.

(30,058 posts)Was in the $30's, not large by any means. Yes they have amassed lots since Bill left office, I do not see her flaunting their assets.
Bill sure did not have a trust fund left by his parents and neither did Hillary, they are self made, generous enough to have the CGI, willing even now to help those less fortunate. Hillary worked with the Children's Defense group, she has advocated for women all over the world. She is still willing to give and do for others. Please give it a break, I know you do not like Hillary but it I enough.

(26,549 posts)He'd be twice as committed to them - He made two statements.
Btw, "integrity of our voting process" isn't what you're looking for. That's the commonly-used language to support voter ID laws.
winter is coming
(11,785 posts)It's voter fraud.
frylock
(34,825 posts)voter fraud is being used as an excuse to implement voter ID laws. instances of voter fraud are so rare as to be considered negligible.
winter is coming
(11,785 posts)In the clip I heard, she was clearly denouncing voter ID laws and said something to the effect that "election fraud" is a bogus issue. She should have said voter fraud.

(9,610 posts)I do not currently hide Hillary threads based on keyword, not yet at least.
sheshe2
(83,708 posts)Trash the thread. Gotta say, your response to me does not make a lot of sense.
What exactly upset you?
Was it because of the video and our struggle to get a Constitutional amendment to vote less than 100 years ago?
Was it because I support Hillary?
I said she has my back?
I don't trash you for supporting Bernie. Why the hate?
PowerToThePeople
(9,610 posts)I actually trash most all pro-HRC posts anymore regardless of who the OP is from. I did rec one OP where she called for 20 days of voting. I think that is a good idea.

(297,029 posts)So appreciate that Hillary is focusing on this, she!
We got the vote in 1920 after our forebearers worked so long and hard for it! It seems unreal there was once a time like that.. we wouldn't have been happy at all! and nowadays the gop are trying to suppress the Vote against Black Folks and Dems..

bigtree
(85,984 posts)...it's not just because she's a woman, but because she identifies directly with issues you feel affect you as a woman. That ability and willingness to directly address issues important to you is as reasonable as it is vital to supporting a candidate. That may not resonate with everyone, but that's okay. We all should speak to why these candidates appeal to us, as individuals, as well as why we feel they'll represent the rest of our individual and collective interests and concerns.
It's refreshing to see your dedicated support and enlightening to read what motivates you to advocate for her nomination and election.
We have had some differences.
Yet, I have loved many of your posts.
The one of your dad blew me away.
I thank you, bigtree. Yes, I identify with her, not just for me, the others I care so much about. I am not getting any younger. I want to leave a better place for the children when I go.
Beautiful, thank you.
Hug.

race, color creed, gender orientation, blah blah blah, but that video is truly stellar.

(83,708 posts)Hey am not voting for her because she is a woman. I am voting for her because she has my interests at heart.
It is in the Op and thread. Believe what you wish. Another poster already apologized to me for saying the same.
