18. I repeat my suggestion of the Delegate Anti-Corruption Ultrasound Bill...
Wed Feb 22, 2012, 07:49 AM
...requiring Virginia Delegates to submit to transrectal ultrasounds before each vote, and the results posted publicly. This is purely an anticorruption measure, which will help track Delegates accepting pricey meals from lobbyists. The citizens of Virginia will also have the added benefit of empirical data on just how full of shit their Delegates are.
Said bill also stipulates a data collection period to provide a baseline for further analysis (e.g., distinguishing burgers from a Sunday cookout from Filet Mignon at Richmond's finest establishments). Thus, for period of not less than six months, the Delegates will undergo this procedure every three hours (8 times a day, every day).
Let's see the Delegates publicly vote on whether they are for or against political corruption. (/innocent batting of eyelashes)
A similar measure would be suitable for Georgia. Lots of lobbyists there too, and would show that this measure is NOT simply retaliation for the Virginia situation.
