Bristol Palin is not satisfied with President Obama's explanation of how he evolved to support gay marriage--by talking with his family and friends.
Bristol writes in a Facebook post that fathers should shape their kids' views, not the other way around:
Bristol has a son with her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston, but the two were never married and Bristol says that Levi is not part of the child's life.

(2,307 posts)Besides, how does Bristol get to talk about marriage. Maybe she is against marriage all together.

(27,045 posts)Bristol is about to do a reality show where she'll be living with her current boyfriend in her new house across the lake from her mother in Alaska. She's calling it a "trial marriage."

(27,045 posts)when she went to L.A. to film a reality show. The show never aired and she headed to Alaska and built the new house. Then she was offered a new reality show with the new boyfriend, a 20-year-old who works on the pipeline. As far as her assertion that kids should have a mom and a dad, according to Levi, Sarah and Bristol have prevented him from seeing his son, though he hasn't paid much in the way of child support, and has pretty much given up. Of course he and his new girlfriend are expecting a new baby.

(34,341 posts)It's rich that some snotty, entitled teenager thinks that she has ANYTHING to say to the President about being a good parent. Pathetic need for the spotlight. Like mother, like daughter.

(94 posts)Saying things like "...in general kids do better growing up in a mother/father home. Ideally, fathers help shape their kids worldview..." So where is her kid's 'mother/father home'? Is her kid's father shaping little Tripp or Truck or Turdblossom's (whatever the hell she named it) world?

...
"In this case, it would've been nice if the President would've been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee," Palin wrote, referencing the popular television show about high schoolers.
