What is wrong with our Federal, State, and Local Governments?

They have been eroded by privatization. Profiting off of what should be a strengthening of "The Commons". A strengthening of the Public Sector.

Conservative/Libertarian answer? More privatization.

1. Money. Money is what's wrong.

2. Things seemed to start turning to poo

the minute Republicans were able to start "profitizing" all kinds of previous public goods/services (i.e. utilities, schools, prisons) and running their fingers through government agencies. And then they use the resulting dysfunction and dissatisfaction to advocate for even MORE "profitization"

3. Money in politics is the root problem

No one represents US. Those with money write the agenda and the laws. Everything else is a smoke screen.

4. Yes it is and...

...the more privatization the more money is made to influence legislation.
A vicious cycle. A revolving door.

5. The public sector is a democracy

A visit to City Hall and City Council meetings goes a long way.

The private sector is a dictatorship. You have no say unless you work for a collective or are in a union.
