Can Bernie handle the media? Past Post: Watch him eat Chuck Toad for Brunch! (Meet the Press)
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025534033
Go Bernie! Sanders for President for sure! He nailed it. Ate Chuck Todd for brunch! And Chuck Todd could not even handle him. Bernie did call out the anger on both sides and included the media in the public's displeasure. He ate Chuck Todd for Brunch! This should be reviewed at this exciting time. This is just a taste of how well he can handle the media, and not take the bait to 'go negative', as Chuck tried in vain, to get him to do! Go Bernie!!!! YEA!

41. And it's not just rethorical
He can go stand on the tops of the coal-company destroyed mountains in West Virgina (where theres no clean water left to drink) and tell the people who live there, 'Yeah, you actually DON'T have to live this way, there are alternatives that allow a better life for you and your kids."
Those people normally vote GOP, and they do so because they get told that they should be good little capitalist-christians and just accept their suffering, (you know, like White Jesus did) and LATER is when you get to have happiness and vindication. If we do what Dr Dean SAID we should be doing (and proved works) we can win everywhere. Maybe not everywhere all the time, but the 50-state strategy turns a lot of red places purple=) |

42. Here what gives me hope though,
if Bernie keeps doing what he's doing (staying positive) eventually, do you think the media will get tired of getting the same responses to the same questions, and then start actually asking real questions about real issues? You would think it would have to happen EVENTUALLY..
"OK, Bernie did really iwell in Iowa, (so we HAVE to have him on) but if we ask him about Hillary again, we KNOW we'll get the same answer we got last time, so what can we ask instead. Shit, I guess we had better get some issue questions ready.." Agree, or not? |

9. Excellent video & so worth 5 minutes of time!
I LOVE how Bernie refuses to be sidetracked from his message! All the journalist wanted to do was talk about Hillary, talk about Obama, talk about Republicans! More 'politics of personality' crap so nothing can be addressed and changed.
BERNIE wants to talk about the disappearing middle class, about threats to our social security and medicare, about stagnating wages. Bernie is an oasis in the desert. |

20. He nailed it including the press.
He exposed Chucky Toad as a shallow stupid corporate boot licker. Toad is a prime example of just how derelict the press has become in their duty to provide the citizens with objective non-bias reporting. What is especially appalling is his smugness in that he actually imagines that he is an exceptional being and is unable to grasp that he was chosen for the position expressly because he is inferior example of the human species who can be manipulated at will by his corporate masters.

There are numerous examples of Obama and Hillary and Bill saying one thing and really doing something different. Lots of smokescreen and shading and some outright falsehoods.
Bernie is the real deal, for the 99% 100% of the time. Exposing the plutocrats in both parties. You won't see him taking a couple hundred thousand for speeches at Goldman Sachs so he is not beholden to them like some others who we all know. |

speechless when he realized he wasn't going to lead him to where he wanted to take him.
Love that he told him, truthfully, that the people are also mad at the media. I wonder how much time they will give him. He acts like an ADULT. No script, no handlers telling him to avoid certain questions, just straight talk. AND he knows a very inportant fact, 'more people are registering as Independents today than ever before'. He's exactly right. He's done his homework, and that is a vote I think he can get. |
