Thom Hartmann Show: Sen. Sanders: I'll Announce Soon on Running for President

Reasons why I should run, also talks about the billionaire class putting money into the races
A media that's not really interested in dealing with real issues, (we all know that)
Are the people ready, can we mobilize?
The hardest political decision that I have ever had to make in my life! A tough decision

I don't know that what party he ran under would change the number of votes. I honestly believe that no matter what he runs as, people will vote for him because he is for the people. Except if he ran as a socialist.

I am not saying that I don't hope he runs as a Democrat. Just my perception of what people need

He's not going to win the Presidential election his real purpose would be to move
public opinion and appearing in Debates would be crucial for that.

He's not going to pull a Nader and even if he ran as in Independent he might not
make the cut to debate with the Republican and Democratic candidates anyway.

Excellent point. Thank you

On edit: it wasn't Nadal that caused bush to be appointed President. It was the Florida government suppressing votes and SCOTUS allowing it.

Like Jill Stein, the two parties would arrest and handcuff Bernie to a chair so he can't attend a debate.

I think the repug wins. There would be no way that the DNC sits out and allows another party run a candidate.

How many stories around the world have been picked up by MSM because of one tweet or one Facebook post? And for those that still only watch TV, the MSM picking up the stories is still important. However, we still have fox and the right wing nut job radio folk. Lying is nothing to them.

And same for Warren if we can convince her to run.

Not one media outlet is really talking about it. I've heard mentioned on Ed. The other night when Rachel said a story no one was covering, I thought it might be this TPP thing, but no, trains... Which is important, but the TPP needs to air it's little head in the public light and let a discussion happen!
