Kity rescue: Loki's New Life by Cassandra Dunn

http://theanimalrescuesite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/ars/story/lokis-new-life756

When we first found Loki when walking outside the front door. He was crying, shaking, very thin and trying to keep warm. We frightened him and he ran under the car, we lured him out with some wet cat noms and he lovingly accepted it. We managed to get him into a cat carrier with some blankets. We kept him in the bathroom all night, he was skittish but he let us clean his wounds. We fed him little at a time to not upset his stomach after being so thin. The very next day I gave him a bath, he did not enjoy it but he also did not fight it. Cleaned his wounds, and gave him a new lease on life starting with a warm bed and a cool name. It’s amazing to see life come back into an animal when there seemed to be no life to begin with when finding them. Loki is still a skittish cat to an extent but he now knows we are only helping and I don’t think he complains about his new luxurious life with his three new family of cats, his handmade toys, plenty of widows to lay and sunbathe in, and yummy treats. He is one of men of our children, and could not be happier that he found us.

A little love and patience can go a long way and change a life forever.
