It's terribly disheartening to see how many of these right wing, nutty, apocalyptic,
unthinking people have been elected to high office in this country. And what is scary
is that they believe the crap that they are spouting.

I could understand someone "playing" to uneducated, uninformed, and unthinking voters.
But I don't get the sense that's what is going on. I think she actually believes this stuff.

I personally don't think most politicians who spew such shit actually believe it, but I've got to allow that there are some. You could be right.

are no longer sufficient to describe the ire these people evoke. A DUer once posted a verse from the book of Isiah in the Bible where God warns against trying to provoke his return, or he will use their souls to stoke the fires of hell, which,IMO, is where these guano eaters belong.
