Why Repugs are FURIOUS over the Iran deal.

They were planning to run on "Hillary isn't tough enough on Iran" to goad her into claiming she would bomb them before any Republican would.

Win/Win for them.

Obama just snatched that major campaign issue away and cleared the way for Hillary to not have to be the Neocon's Neocon.

In fact what really showed his true colors is that he mentioned that it could cause major economic issues worldwide because oil prices would fall even more. Howard Dean two days ago was saying we should walk away from the deal on Joe Scarbough(sic), and I have no doubt there are other Democrats to who aren't thrilled about it, though I truly believe the majority of Democrats are.

Deal, except for maybe rand Paul. I also suspect whoever the Democratic candidates are they will be for the deal. Now, the can be just written off as political jockeying for position, or that they really believe it is a good or bad deal

I prefer to think of Hillary as believing the deal is a good one. I also believe the republican potential candidates if they didn't put party over countr, most of them would be more inclined toward the deal

I am not as cynical as some are about Hillary

I think she might "move left". In any case I think Obama just did her an enormous favor. She can shuck a lot of unpleasant baggage if she runs with it, she has a hawkish image now, and the country is sick of war, and by then should be sick of Republicans too.

Will Republicans protect the US from...

Russia? No, they adore Putin.
China? Depends: There is money to be made in China and their donors don't want to alienate China.
Terrorists? It was Obama's guys who got bin Laden and Obama's guys are bombing ISIS.

So... Who is left to bomb?
