I was just thinking about the whole situation with his family having to pretend to not know each other.

at least not by much. The same kinds of things happen here only it's not encoded into law. For example two guys might pretend to just be friends. Or a man might be comfortable with his girlfriend only not in public because she doesn't meet the beauty standards of society. Or people with different religious backgrounds might keep their relationship secret for a time. But, those examples are just because people seem to know the rules of their social circle.

how many out of tens of thousands of tweets are being used to dis him?

i used to use the term 'bastard' once in a while when ranting about republicans and then i caught myself using it with a new good friend who is actually a 'bastard' who hardly ever saw his father. i still caught myself using the term a couple of times- it had nothing to do with the meaning- it was a word i learned as a derogatory label and never really thought about it.

i don't know if that related to noah's use or supposed use of misogyny and anti-semitism (i havent seen the offending tweets) after growing up in an african country but i present it.....

Apparently somebody dug up some sexist and other "questionable" tweets of his and somebody here posted a thread with the tweets and DUers criticized him. This thread is in response to that. I didn't click on the thread and read the tweets, they could have been bad, I have no idea. i thought this was ok/funny though

it's one strike and you're out. Sad to see that mentality at a liberal website.
