NBC---Prove You Have Atoned. Show Danny Schechter's "Weapons of Mass Deception"
In 2002-3, the nations corporate media banged the (oil) drums of war. And no one was louder or more enthusiastic than NBC, aka GE aka the public relations arm of the Pentagon.
The Iraq War was an abomination. It is still an abomination. It was planned in the 1990s by the NeoCons as a strategy to "liberate" Iraq's oil for private companies. And the MSM played a huge part in scaring the shit out of Americans so that we would go along with the planned invasion.
If NBC/MSNBC wants to prove that it is no longer the All War All the Time network, it should show the documentary "Weapons of Mass Deception." Prime time. Tell us again why Donahue lost his show. Show us again how Tom Brokaw pimped that war. Do this for me, and you will have earned your right to label Clinton a "war hawk." Fail to do this, and you will prove that you are just posturing for ratings when you include folks like Rachel Maddow.
