The guy wanted to know if I was going to vote in the Republican primary for the 2016 election.....I told him NO,
He said thanks and hung up.
Started me worrying. Why aren't I getting calls about the Democratic primary for the 2016 election? I think Dems will be very very very angry if we don't have one.

(11,619 posts)The Republican clown car, or is it clown bus, is already full.
So far, Clinton, Web, O'Malley, Sanders (who has said he will change parties if he runs), and Biden have expressed interest or have exploratory committees. Apparently, none of them are paying pollsters in your location.

(10,044 posts)How about the I-MA, Sen. King.....does he caucus with the Dems?
Then there's David Axelrod...he's not doing much...what a total waste of a good decent man with brains. Not many of them around.
Show business has loads of people who could lwin:
Letterman, Robert Redford, George Clooney....Arquett who was on Letterman - women's issues...
Tee Hee, Brian Williams is probably available.
Who else can you think of?
Durbin, Connecticut has a good one, . . .

(11,619 posts)Like Bernie Sanders, he would have to join the party.
King could run as an independent, but would not have a snowballs chance as an independent.
None of them have expressed the least bit of interest.
Running for President requires the desire to do the crazy job. They don't want it.

I want to draft someone sane.

(53,339 posts)I managed phone banks for Kerry in Ohio and made a helluva lot of calls myself. And heard complaints from folks who thought we were calling too much.
