Do you think that W ever understood how unpopular he actually was? I mean, did it ever hurt his feelings? Since that frat level seemed to be the level he was operating under.

Bush likely looked for that approval from the lowest denominator, like most jerks. His desire for Cheney's was the most visible example. Wonder what he actually does these days?
