The cops blockaded off almost everything in lower Manhattan -- Zuccotti Park, Wall Street, Battery Park. But the protesters found their way to the plaza of a monstrous office building at 55 Water Street. (The photo below shows the plaza, which holds a Vietnam War memorial, in its normal non-Occupy state.)

Tim is currently streaming from there -- though he's been at this since 8 am and is getting pretty worn down. The cops are massing across the street and trying to keep more people from entering the plaza. Meanwhile, there are multiple general assemblies going on and there seems to be a lot of energy.
