Ya. Strip mining tar sands is probably more favorable with those that see a profit in it.

First, Obama did not veto Keystone, he vetoed Congress' attempt to override his authority.

For those that see the open cuts that will possibly cover an area as large Florida, the tailing ponds, and the spills from other tar sand slurry pipelines not so much....

Second - so - no matter what the environmental concerns, Buffet thinks of Keystone merely as some sort of party favor.
Makes me wonder how much any politician he gives money and support to will have to do his bidding.

Just because Buffett is rich and not a Republican doesn't mean he is also right about everything.
