Fox News lamely attacks Rebecca from the SOTU

Megyn Kelly had Chris Stirewalt (no he wasn't the thing at the end of "Weird Science&quot on to discuss Rebecca who President Obama featured in the State of the Union.

Apparently Rebecca "worked on a Democratic Senate campaign". Specifically Patty Murray's re-election campaign in Washington.

That was it. No details on what she did in the campaign. Phone calls? Canvassing? She walked in the door and suddenly became a top echelon advisor?

As someone who has worked on campaigns since 2004 (running phone banks, in a commercial, canvassing for Obama 2008 and extensively for Kaine in 2012) I know that that is not more likely to get my letter read. Usually your contact is a young hired pro who moves on to the next election wherever it is.

Maybe Rebecca worked on Murray's campaign because she knows where her best interests lie. Seems to me that she booked the right side for her families sake.
