Yeah, I've seen and heard just about every imaginable pitch for money. Fortunately my junk mail folder catches most of them.

I'm skeptical of how they use the money anyway. How well do the donation solicitors live on the money that people send in. Is there a transparent accounting of how the money is spent that is available to the public?
