One of the rural Atlantic, Iowa, men suspected of illegally possessing more than 100 sets of deer remains has been cited in the matter.

The other man, his father, will be cited this week, said Brian Smith, a state conservation officer with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

Sean Chamberlin, 23, is charged with 111 counts of illegal possession of deer remains, plus one count of illegally transporting deer, illegally killing a raccoon, illegally killing a badger, unlicensed harvesting of fur, and failure to report a harvested deer. He had earlier been ticketed for littering.

John Chamberlin Jr., 47, Sean Chamberlin’s father, will be cited on suspicion of 111 counts of illegal deer possession, Smith said.

I once knew a poacher who was operating on a federal park. I would bait him into telling me when he was going "hunting", then alert the park rangers. He was arrested on my third report. . .he did a year in jail and can never have a hunting license or possess a gun again. I hate poachers.
