Strong medicine for belly-achers about the immigrant invasion...WOOOOO!

"The Good Lie" (2014), an under-rated and unrewarded jewel produced by Ron Howard.

Real Sudanese refugies give the performance of their lives. And, Reese Witherspoon plays a role that rivals "Wild" (albeit less physically demanding).

Just one of the comments from viewers:

"Beautiful movie of endurance, love and strength. I remember back then when the refuges started coming over. Arizona welcomed quite a few and I remember thinking, wow! where did they all come from?

You could tell they were new to the USA just from how they reacted to those around them. They were so very polite and also they way they dressed was just a little bit off. And yet, I really didn't know why why I was seeing all these new immigrants.

Being young and never having followed world news I was clueless. But, I was curious enough to do some research and what I learned broke my heart.

Just like the character Reese Witherspoon played, I had no clue until I looked online. So many of us all take for granted what we have here in America until something reminds us.

Like this movie or even a simple picture or story online that opens our eyes. Take the time to watch this movie, it's worth it. Keep Kleenex handy though."

Make the effort to see this movie. And, recommend it to those around you who bitch and moan about the "immigrant issue".
