Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record
By WSJ Staff
President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. Thats almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.
His job-creation record wont look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clintons administration and only slightly better than President George H.W. Bush did in his four years in office.
Heres a look at job creation under each president since the Labor Department started keeping payroll records in 1939. The counts are based on total payrolls between the start of the month the president took office (using the final payroll count for the end of the prior December) and his final December in office.
Because the size of the economy and labor force varies, we also calculate in percentage terms how much the total payroll count expanded under each president. The current President Bush, once taking account how long hes been in office, shows the worst track record for job creation since the government began keeping records.

Rubio Loses Page of Speech at Foreign Policy Talk
As he wound up a major foreign policy speech Wednesday afternoon, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., was missing a crucial piece of the puzzle - the last page of his speech.
Rubio, who delivered the speech without a teleprompter, admitted to the crowd at the Brookings Institute that he misplaced the final page from his speech.
"I left the last page of my speech. Does anyone have my last page?" Rubio said before Sen. Joe Lieberman, who introduced Rubio, passed it to him across the stage.

...then we should respond in kind.
George W Bush was an ogre. He did more damage to this nation than any President in our history. He led us to the brink of economic destruction. Now, his supporters, like Marco Rubio, want to brag about what a great job he did. God forbid anyone ask him for the details!
Perhaps he is talking about Iraq and the actions that permitted virtual control of that country by the Shites of Iran? Perhaps he is talking about Afghanistan, which Bush deserted to go into Iraq, and permitted the Taliban to come back and establish control over much of that country?
Or perhaps he is talking about the huge amount of debt that was run up by Mr Bush after he was left with a balanced budget and a surplus for far into the future? Or perhaps he is talking about the slowest economy and the worst job creation since the Great Depression? Perhaps someone could get this Bush appraisers to enlighten us on just what George W Bush did that was so great?
When these types of comments are made by Rubio and other Republicans, Democrats have a duty to respond. They should never ever be allowed to rewrite history on the subject of George W Bush.
