One must always check under the hood before starting up to go to work in the morning, especially in the winter months. That was my practice for many years, terrified that one might get caught in the fan when I turned the ignition on. Same with not letting anti-freeze get out where animals might drink it. Our vehicles and what they can do are part of our human responsibility. Glad to see another rescue story, Steven, these make our days better.

Torties and calicos are always wild women.

I'm glad she was safe. A lot of kittens and cats who climb into engines to take advantage of the warmth aren't as lucky.
