Remember when heroic DC cops murdered Miriam Carey
with her one year old baby in the car, no less? And how the scum in congress applauded her murder?
Police were hailed as "heroic" after thwarting the car chase. Congress afforded the officers a standing ovation as members lined up to praise their dedication and bravery. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/oct/04/obama-police-dc-car-chase-miriam-carey I see a lot of posts on here about RWers being the ones making excuses for killer cops. erm, Steny Hoyer and nearly the whole congress. Standing ovation for cold blooded murder. I hope this illustrates a point and that people wake up out of partisan delusions. The ESTABLISHMENT supports killer cops and the establishment consists of both parties.

1. The police made the right decision in this case.
The woman was driving crazily around DC, would not stop, and attempted to hit multiple people with her car. Not to mention hitting a secret service agent who was trying to detain her, and attempting to drive through a White House security checkpoint.
Miriam Carey put her child's life in danger. The Secret Service and Capitol police were correct in this case. There are bad cops, there are good cops. Quit trying to vilify them all. |

4. No, I don't remember a "murder" in this case.
I do remember a mentally ill woman who made the unfortunate choice to put a lot of lives in danger and the law enforcement officers who had to stop her. It was very sad for everyone involved, but it wasn't a murder.
