Being a guy - and one not particularly successful with women, I really despise how these ads prey on men - am I really supposed to be that easy to manipulate by advertisers?

Add to the "He Went to Jareds" and "Every Kiss Begins with Kay" ads all the dating site ads that start showing up around the Holidays because nobody wants to be alone at Christmas and have no one to kiss on New Years. These ads are equal opportunity preying on both sexes but the dating sites turn out to be much more advantageous for women than men as the ratio is even worse than in bars.
