A First Look at Mitt's possible running mates..

she is also a Mormon...

Maybe she can be Mitt's Sarah Palin

Mia Love On Track to be First Black Republican Congresswoman

[img][/img]

Mia Love is the daughter of Haitian immigrants who came to America with more dreams than dollars

If Saratoga Springs Mayor Mia Love wins her bid for Congress, she will be the first black Republican congresswoman in history. But don’t try to put her in that box.

Love is running in Utah’s newly created 4th Congressional District. She will face a primary field including state Reps. Stephen Sandstrom and Carl Wimmer on June 26. If she wins, she’ll face Democratic Rep. Jim Matheson, who remains incredibly popular, in November.

The historical significance that her election would hold is not lost on Love, but she is adamant that she doesn’t want her race or gender to play any role in the contest.

But she looks pretty green right now. Mayor of a tiny city with less than 20K people in it? That's not going to cut it. Even Palin was at least a governor when she was picked.

Besides, two Mormons on the ticket? Not gonna happen.

This would take a major undertaking of propaganda salesmanship for Fixed News. Plus, the fact that she isn't white would make it more difficult for Fixed News to make racist remarks about Obama.
