So apparently not a protester, just someone with a Swiss Army knife that may or may not have been brandished. Whatever happened to tasers or nonlethal force? I think the cops are becoming more cowardly by the day.

Are you going downtown tomorrow for the rally?

I live close to downtown so I think I can swing it.

Yeah, cops have gotten too scared to act rationally. Time to stop killing people.

Memories... Worked over on Vine.

I was asking about the protest here. I was hoping to show up.

You would think the police would be a little more circumspect about using deadly force with tensions running high like they are.

One woman said a man ran into a McDonald's shouting that police shot his friend, who sometimes "liked to wave a knife to scare tourists," NBC Los Angeles reports

Still not ok to kill the guy. As I said above, whatever happened to tasers, or something less lethal than plugging a guy multiple times? If they must shoot, why not in the kneecap or something?

Plugging a guy probably reduces bureaucratic stress compared to bothersome police brutality hearings with a live victim to testify at.
