it sickens me so much to see Jesus shown holding a rifle and attributing such terrible words to Him, I can't stomach it enough to even recommend.

The hope is that GOP Christians will stop and think about their actions in supporting policies that hurt the poor. It is my understanding that Jesus would not want his followers to adopt the current GOP attitude of, "I've got mine, screw you."

Little kids and families being hungry has always offended me more than artists representations of things people invent.

But maybe not everyone see it that way.

that I can only affect a very little corner of the world, so I aim to make that little corner as pleasant as I can for those around me.

So, yes, I have to avert my eyes to much of the misery today, and in the past, lest myself and others lose hope.

And, I wish for you, jtuck004, hope for today for you and all you encounter.
