2. of course. this is well known. the repub senate will pass keystone xl pronto.

the only questions are can they get a veto proof majority and will the President veto it.

I can't imagine why this surprises anyone.

6. How can they pass it if there are forty one Democrats willing to vote no?

If necessary a filibuster may be needed but it will not pass.

9. Based on the Dems that voted for it tonight

They'll have enough to pass it in January, but not enough to override a veto.

4. Games and they will keep bringing it up till it passes. Or he will attach it to a bill that Obama

just can't bring himself to veto and he will regretfully sign it for the good of the country of course. He doesn't want to you see, but what else can he do. He doesn't have a magic fucking wand.

7. They will attach it to

The next legislation that funds the government, at the last minute of course. President Obama will have to decide if he wants to veto the entire legislation and shut down the government by doing so. That's how I think they will play it.

8. all the celebrating of the vote is meaningless

it will proceed after January and only the veto and native-American opposition will stop it. We're so hard up for some kind of victory against the RW we celebrate a hollow victory. In principle great, in reality meaningless. Nov 4 2014, sealed our fate for two more years. With the fascist, racist drift a majority of voting citizens of this country are taking, maybe a lot longer.
