Another day Courtney Love bombshell, but this one is particularly disturbing, so I'll keep the snark to a minimum. One wonders if illegal underage sex is what Nugent means by quality of life upgrade that the Republican Party represents. On the Howard Stern Show today, Courtney Love admitted, after heavy questioning, to allegedly having had oral sex with Republican Ted Nugent at the age of twelve. This is an impossibly horrible revelation -- is there a statute of limitations for this sort of thing? -- and explains quite a bit about Courtney Love's disfunctional relationship to the rock and roll lifestyle.

If there are victims I hope they will come forward and speak up in a forceful and unified manner. I would like to see this fetid individual leave the public stage and if he has committed crimes, be punished for them.

he liked them young. I have heard this several times over the years from different people. I, like others here, hope that this new "publicity" Nuge is getting might finally bring some of his victims forward. I lost a lot of respect for Anthony Bourdain when he visited this POS in Texas on "No Reservations".

Though I don't consider Love to be a particularly reliable source.

That being said, as another poster mentioned, Nugent did hook up with a 17 year old girl in the 1970s, so he is a certified line-crosser. Where there's smoke, there's often fire.

Could be that Love presented herself as older or that the Nuge conveniently didn't ask too many questions. Unfortunately I think that kind of thing is all too common in groupie culture. I heard Bell Biv Devoe's 'Do Me' on XM a week or so ago. Hadn't heard it since it came out 20 years ago. I didn't remember that the lyrics sleazily reference sex with underage girls.
