Why Weren't The People That Run Dallas Presbyterian Hospital Grilled In Today's Hearing?.....

I would like to hear directly from the people that run that hospital as to what actually happened and why? Put them under oath.

I felt bad for the panel on the hot seat today because they may outline the procedures and guidance's but it is the people in the hospitals that have to put them into practice. These panelists today couldn't answer questions in detail - because they weren't there on the scene. I'm sure that from the Repubs perspective - today's hearing accomplished what they wanted to. They wanted to discredit this administration and scare the American Public. I felt that the panelist held their own today - but the people will only get soundbites from this meeting and it will be those soundbites that will support the Repubs. Remember they own the media.

We need to hear directly from those administrators and caregivers at the Dallas Hospital as to what happened. In a way they need to be made an example of so as to get the message out to all hospitals as to what worked and what didn't. We need all hospitals to take this seriously and unless they hear directly from Dallas hospital people - I'm afraid that we'll still see hospitals around this country cut corners.

I know it is a "non-profit" , but that is in name only. 7 figure a year CEOs must be protected.

to paraphrase a heroic American: "...there's plenty of money to be made by supplying the 'nurses' with the tools of the trade....."

Ya see...it's the GOVERNMENT that is to blame for a for-profit hospital's fvckups.

It's NEVER the 5 MILLION dollar CEO's fault - it's the middle class income government employees' fault.

They oversee the government. Not random Texas hospitals.

It was a shameful display. Imagine the resources displaced to get the assholes from the CDC in front of the thunderturds that make uo that committee.

He basically blathered on about what a wonderful faith-based healthcare facility the hospital is. Then he went on to say that they are sorry they made mistakes. He didn't or appeared unable to go into specifics about specifics. After a while, I think the Rs were so busy posturing with the agencies that they forgot he was on the other end of an electronic connection.
