SUSA: Nunn takes 3-point lead in GA Senate Race/Gov race tied.

Democrat Michelle Nunn, for the first time, leads Republican David Perdue in their race for a U.S. Senate seat, according to a new poll conducted by Survey USA for Atlanta Business Chronicle broadcast partner WXIA-TV.

Nunn leads likely voters 48 percent to Perdue's 45 percent. Libertarian Amanda Swafford has 3 percent of support, just enough votes to possibly force a runoff, WXIA says.

In the race for governor, Republican incumbent Nathan Deal and Democrat challenger Jason Carter are tied. Each candidate received 46 percent of likely voters’ support in the latest poll.

The Dems said there private polling showed Nunn leading and closing in on 50% and this poll backs that up.

the tide is starting to turn for Michelle Nunn. Suffice it to say that it's good to be a Democrat in GA today.
