Everybody in her class has a iPad to use during the school day.

(11,155 posts)she can hook them up to Apple's Deployment App and configure them all or has a Tech Support team that has the setup. Or have her look at Meraki - https://meraki.cisco.com/products/systems-manager which I believe is still free to use.
Not sure if the winning of iPads is good or bad.
Now she gets to figure out what apps are needed and how to finance the pay apps. Doing it

(21,126 posts)She'll need a reasonably secure wireless network, an RDM, perhaps a remote app server, apps, and supportive curriculum. That's a lot of paid-for infrastructure (and support for it) to go along with the free stuff.

(14,047 posts)Buggy and non-intuitive. It can be made to work, but I have dealt with malware that was less frustrating.
I'm convinced that Apple must have hired the people responsible for for the Microsoft Deployment Tool to develop this thing.

I have to ask why every kid in grade school couldn't have an iPad. If we had different priorities.
