My own guess is that both sides would prefer to wait until after the mid-term elections for a judge to rule on it.

I don't believe one was filed. Do you have a docket number of this "pending" suit?

My understanding was that they have not yet retained counsel to draft and file the complaint.

As of yet, there has been nothing but silly talk from the repubs. They've never even said what the cause of action actually would be.

My prediction is that after the election, it will be dropped and they will say 'we proved our point' or something along those lines.

Don't know if they found someone else or they are continuing with the case. What I don't recall is any real evidence of what they were suing him for. Just like those folks who say they want him to be impeached, but they can't quite say what the charges would be.
