China-Canada Investment Agreement Locks Canada into Legally Binding Terms

This sounds pretty serious for Canada. They can be sued by China if they disagree to allow China access to any natural resources that they deem to be profitable. I can definitely understand why this is upsetting, and quite frankly, I am shocked that this hasn't been mentioned more. Has anyone else heard about this? It seems to me that Canada has pretty much sold itself to China for the next 31 years.
