Jessa Duggar compares Holocaust genocide of 11 million people to abortion.

Behind that sweet smile is a highly judgmental attitude toward those who face what are often life and death decisions to abort...a decision that is between a patient, her family, her physician. It is not nor should it be a religious decision.

Jessa Duggar Compares Abortion to the Holocaust Because This Is the World We Live In

The 19 Kids and Counting star recently visited Washington, D.C.'s Holocaust Museum and rather than absorbing the atrocity of one of the greatest horrors in recent history, she decided to leverage the genocide of 11 million people to support her view on abortion.

"I walked through the Holocaust Museum again today... very sobering. Millions of innocents denied the most basic and fundamental of all rights — their right to life," Duggar wrote on Instagram with a photo of a concentration camp. "One human destroying the life of another deemed 'less than human.' Racism, stemming from the evolutionary idea that man came from something less than human; that some people groups are 'more evolved' and others 'less evolved.' A denying that our Creator — GOD — made us human from the beginning, all of ONE BLOOD and ONE RACE, descendants of Adam. The belief that some human beings are 'not fit to live.' So they're murdered. Slaughtered. Kids with Down syndrome or other disabilities. The sickly. The elderly. The sanctity of human life varies not in sickness or health, poverty or wealth, elderly or pre-born, little or lots of melanin [making you darker or lighter skinned], or any other factor."

Duggar, 21, proceeded to quote from the Bible, writing: "If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? and shall not He render to every man according to his works?" (Proverbs 24:10-12) May we never sit idly by and allow such an atrocity to happen again. Not this generation. We must be a voice for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Because EVERY LIFE IS PRECIOUS. #ProLife"

I was impressed by this last paragraph by the TV Guide reporter.

The Holocaust claimed the lives of 6 million Jews and 5 million others, including gay people, gypsies, communists and those with disabilities. They were subjected to horrific experiments, mass exterminated and worked to death if they weren't killed on sight. Abortion is a legal procedure that one in three women undergoes. By legalizing abortion, it has helped reduce the number of unsafe and illegal means of abortion, which is a leading killer of pregnant women. Whatever your stance on abortion, comparing it to the Holocaust is tone-deaf, insensitive and irresponsible.

I hear the strangest things from homeschooled people sometimes. Some are really sharp and homeschooled with other kids where the families pooled resources to hire an instructor, they usually know better than to even think stuff like that. But I knew a family who did christian home school, and if you read some of the textbooks , you can see that they are not always quite correct and they lack sexual education and reproductive health education.

I wonder if she is a quiverfull too.

Michelle Duggar isn't just the mother of 19 children--she's their teacher as well! Michelle has homeschooled all of her kids from the beginning, and she and Jim Bob agree that it was one of the wisest decisions their family has made.

Why did the Duggars choose home education? Their inspiration came from Scriptures like Deuteronomy 6:6-7.

"Bible says to train up your children when you get up in the morning when you sit down, walk by the way, and when you go to bed at night...and we really felt like in order to do to fulfill that command, we really wanted to home school our children," Jim Bob told KLTV in an April 2011 interview.

Definitely homeschooled. They give off that vibe.

And they need to be monitored very closely and tested to ensure they can teach the material to the students without the teacher. Often teachers are the first ones to notice signs of abuse and are mandated to report it. I worry that we have children who are abused with nobody to tell.

There was a case in our state where the kids were christian homeschooled and the abuse was horrifying.http://hsinvisiblechildren.org/2013/07/16/15-children-of-robert-hale-papa-pilgrim/

I feel bad for saying it but, I do not think homeschool should be permitted without frequent visits from a social worker or a tutor and maybe a councilor. Because of Papa Pilgrim.

19. Homeschoolers should be removed from society and sterilized. They have no business raising kids.

Most homeschoolers are backward hillbilly types, child rapists, people who have procreated with their siblings, child kidnappers, racists or these freaks..

Anyone who babbles on about "homeschooling" should receive an automatic sentence of 10 years in prison, no exceptions the same goes for anti vaxxers.

Some reasons among the folks I've worked with include:

Bullying at school and lack of safety in general.

Crappy curriculum, just packets of work and crowded classrooms.

No transportation.

It's not easy to homeschool, but I've seen some families and kids who turn out to be stellar students!

Josh is also the one who works for a hate group (FRC). John-David does not bother me as much. He seems to have found his niche with a towing business and various construction projects.

I want some of the middle ones (Josiah, Joy-Anna) to rebel and be the spark that starts the rebellion of the younger ones (I love Jackson and Johannah and it will be sad how they'll be separated come puberty). Josiah's been sparking my gaydar and they've shipped him off to a Christian boot camp for the better part of the last year.

I think all hope is lost for Jinger on up.

Tue Sep 30, 2014, 05:41 PM

they have a lot of potential and they are just really kind also.

joy anna would do great in jobs that are traditionally male but i'm afraid she will be forced into the kitchen . but she seems like the type who could do what her old brother john david does . the young girl jennifer has said she didn't want to get married. i realize she is young but she also doesn't seem to like bows and the coloor pink. if she could do what she wants i get a feeling she would love to just read books and maybe get into writing .

i get the gaydar with jackson but that could just be because he is into traditional female things the way joy anna seems to be more into the male activities.

this is what i hate about gender roles and it's even worse with this group as they will force them into roles they don't really have interest in just because they think if you are a boy you need to do this and if you are a girl you need to do that.

i just hope by the time the younger ones get older they just get too lazy with things and they are allowed a bit more freedom. they also seem to have connection to the internet so i'm hoping they are getting around the restrictions some way.

48. I think they do too
Tue Sep 30, 2014, 10:00 PM
Sep 2014

And they're not the male mode that the Duggars want their boys to be. I think once one gets out (Josiah and Joy-Anna are the ones I have money on) then it will be a chain reaction. Joy Ana was the one I had rebelling because she's stuck in the middle of a bunch of boys and does not strike me as close to her older sisters (who all seem to be a clique) and is too old for her younger sisters. It's ashame that her sibling relationships were severed by her parents at puberty. She seemed happy in the early episodes and held her own with the boys. I'm glad they haven't beaten all the spunk out of her and she gives me great hope for rebellion (I'd personally help that kid).

Jackson is 10 and hasn't set off my gaydar yet. It's much harder to judge a prepubescent child's sexuality. I'm really hoping that by the time he and Johannah are older, the rules are completely loosened and they can still have that close relationship.

Normally we could dismiss this as crazy shit reality stars say, but her family is VERY political. Her dad was a state representative and unsuccessfully ran for US Senate (before he became famous for how often he knocks up his wife). Her oldest brother works for the Family Research Council and they have many political connections. Another brother of hers is a county level elected official.

They're GOP royalty (in socially conservative circles) and it's a matter of time before one of them runs for state or federal office. They have the money and name ID for a successful political run. The family just spoke at the Values Voters summit.
