(from a source which shall remain unnamed):
"He threats. He sanctioned when it comes to dealing with other countries, too. I think that it's illustrating that our own foreign policy is becoming murkier and messier by the day and people are really craving that peace through strength, pursuit and success of Ronal Reagans. We don't have that today and it's really is though getting people a little bit more enthused about figuring out what our foreign policy really is when it comes to dealing with North Korea and their threats, and Iran, and others out there and just the desire for some positive change in the foreign policy direction."

(12,530 posts)I apologize for the correction, but she's properly referred to as Sarah Palin, Former Alaska Gove.
The "rnor" part isn't bestowed until the second half of the governor's first term.
See 'n Smear--I love it.

(75,480 posts)A neighbor of mine, who is not interested in news or politics, caught one of her dialogues on the TeeVee, while looking for something else. When I talked to him over the fence, a few days later, he mentioned it and said, "wtf is she talking about? Do you know? I know you keep up with these politicians."
I had to say, "No, I never know what she's talking about and I don't think anyone else does either."

(18,541 posts)Geez, whatever happened to (R) fiscal conservatism? Mobilization, bullets and bombs cost a lot of money (trillions, if memory serves), not to mention the cost in lives of our service members.
As for the rest of the word salad, the faithful will read into it what they desire to hear - The same way they interpret the Bible, Constitution Bill of Rights or any news article.

(25,921 posts)that her devotees understand a single thing she says. Sure, they may seem enthralled as she spouts her gibberish, but I bet any of them would be hard-pressed to render an encapsulation of what she'd just said.

(27,787 posts)My 80ish father in law loves her. He's a smart man, far too conservative for my tastes. But he's not a dope.
He's so conservative that 20+ years ago, when his daughter and I decided to "live in sin", he did not speak to her on the phone other than to hand that phone to my now mother in law, for an entire year, before we married.
He was unhappy back then. I was ruining his daughter.
Now that she and I have been married for over 20 years, and of his three son-in-laws, I'm the only one who has NOT moved back into his house, with his daughter, and grandchildren in tow ... I'm totally and completely forgiven.
But I digress ...
He's an old man, who thinks Palin is cute. That's really all it is. He has no idea what she is saying ... but she says it with spunk.
My mother in law rolls her eyes behind his back when ever Palin is on TV.

(33,688 posts)mash-up. Princess Dumbass of the Northwoods clearly is not getting any smarter or more coherent. And Sarah, dearie, the USSR has only been defunct for 20 years; I also hasten to point out that the North Korean rocket did not so much fly as plummet out of the sky like a sheep out of a tree.
