President Obama to Speak Thursday on Payroll Tax-Cut

http://nationaljournal.com/whitehouse/obama-to-speak-thursday-on-payroll-tax-cut-20111221

President Obama will discuss what the payroll tax cut extension means to ordinary Americans in a public appearance tomorrow, according to a senior administration official.

Obama is riding a wave of public support in favor of extending the cut and has positioned Democrats as working to prevent a tax hike, while he accuses House Republicans of playing politics.

"At Thursday’s event, the President will discuss what’s at stake for the American people, and will be joined by Americans who would see their taxes go up if the House Republicans fail to act, including some of those Americans who have responded to this call to illustrate what $40 means to them," a White House official said.

The event is set to take place at 12:15 p.m.

by everyone in D.C. It's about time that politicians from both sides actually did some real work instead of fighting eachother.

how do you present your side of the issue when the MSM and others are making it appear just like the argument presented here ?

one is fighting for Tax cuts for 160 millions,

the one (read Republicons) are fighting for the 1%!

I'd rather Dems fight than not. Many have complained over and over
that they weren't fighting enough. Now that they are, folks like you
come out of the woodwork to complain about that. How about that?
