(146,262 posts)How novel. Dr. Strangelove image notwithstanding, that's typical for such things, since it puts everyone at the same level and elevates nobody to special prominence. It's a NATO meeting, which is a military thing, too.

(146,262 posts)I don't post to any particular specification. The two photos are similar, but then so would be any two photos of a large group of leaders meeting to discuss almost anything. The circular arrangement is almost universally used for such meetings, because it doesn't single out any of the people at the meeting as more or less powerful.
That was the nature of my comment, and why I don't see the similarity pointed out in the OP as meaningful.
I hope that answers your question, but if it doesn't, it won't matter much. I read. I reply. My replies are not designed to meet with anyone's approval or disapproval. They are just my replies to the topic in question.
Why would you ask why I typed what I did, in the first place? How does that matter to you or to anyone else? I'm truly puzzled.

(36,988 posts)A backer of the Iraq invasion, a defender of the infamous Danish cartoons, a "personal friend" of former US president George W. Bush... and now, the secretary-general of NATO. Is Anders Fogh Rasmussen really the right man to lead the Atlantic Alliance?
Rasmussen, 56, was prime minister of Denmark for over eight years. Despite supporting George W. Bush in his destructive search for Saddam
Rasmussen is a bit like a Danish Tony Blair. He's affected Denmark a great deal. It shouldn't be forgotten that he got elected as prime minister on the issue of immigration. He then governed a centre-right coalition, which was supported by the Danish People's Party - a far-right party.
