Can you see the problem here? #Ferguson

This is the mayor of Ferguson responding to questions:

He was asked about the officer who called protesters "animals."

"The officers did their best. They're only human," he said.

Maybe "human" should be in quotes too, at least as regards the officer who yelled that.
