How do we know there are 1,726 Palestinians killed?

I know...I know....we heard it on the TV.

But, to look at the rubble from the bombings, there could be that many people buried under it?

And how do we know that 80% of them are civilians?

it amuses me that people who reflexively call bullshit on anything that even smells like
self-interest are willing to believe whatever Hamas says.

If they wanted to kill everyone, everyone would be dead.

It's a terrible situation, made worse by Hamas' fascination with launching rockets any and every chance they get.

other than "no civilian casualties."

Israel may be acting badly at times, but in no way will I believe they're trying to maximize death.

No easy outcome. We both know the rockets will resume as soon as Israel leaves.

they are working on it while trying to maintain the victimhood stance... it's not easy to make it appear that way while annihilating an entire population with impunity... these appearances take time (and our money).

Propaganda is a dangerous thing, those with the most resources usually gain the upper hand in the contest of imagery. I offer Fuxnooz and the four wealthiest wannabes in the US as well known examples.

You can be guaranteed of one thing, nobody in that area is going to look like liberators or have rose pedals thrown down at their feet. Looks like war to me. Supposedly war is something humans pretend they like to avoid to stay civilized, but I think humans are drawn to war like a moth to a flame.

JABALIYA, Gaza Strip —An examination of an Israeli barrage that put a line of at least 10 shells through a United Nations school sheltering displaced Palestinians here last week suggests that Israeli troops paid little heed to warnings to safeguard such sites and may have unleashed weapons inappropriate for urban areas despite rising alarm over civilian deaths

Gaza City has a population density of around 25000 people per square mile. Considering the levels of devastation wrought by Israeli artillery? The casualty figures are entirely credible.

because the U.N backs up that number. The U.N has people on the ground and they verified that number.

This is why America is always what I call the 'bitch' of Israel, the media is so corrupt in the U.S that they neglect to give you the information that the rest of the world knows about, and instead all you hear is the same tired crap of 'always believe anything Israel say, no matter how outrageous", and 'questions everything else that anyone in the world says, even the U.N'.

Shame.

you wouldn't see a Hamas soldier. They can't afford uniforms, let alone a "proper" military. They are mostly men and boys who live within the West Bank. I was trying to find a video I saw made by VICE but couldn't find the exact one. However, here's the link to videos on VICE about the conflict.
