WASHINGTON - It's over, and Mitt Romney is going to be the GOP nominee for president.

That's the growing consensus among Republican National Committee members who will automatically attend the party's national convention this summer and can support any candidate they choose.

Even some members who support other candidates begrudgingly say the math doesn't add up for anyone but the former Massachusetts governor.

keeps his promise to keep on truckin', the longer the repub primary goes, the more damage done to "Etch-A-Sketch" RMoney and exacerbates the current infighting among repubs, the rabid tea-party members and the ones slightly less rabid, any sane ones have already left the party and are registering as independents.

2. So the fundies have no candidate in the race that they consider a "Christian."

I wonder what they will ultimately do. And do not assume that they will bend easily... Romney will truly be poison for the right-wing alliance.

Limbaugh, O'riley, Colter, who ever, tell them to rally behind. They will do so with the fever of the mindless.
I think its going to be a tough fight.

I'm sure that Limbaugh and Coulter are pretty secular, and O'Reilly too, actually. It's more important what their pastors will say, and that is determined through other channels. They will vote for Romney, but only "tactically," and not with vigor.

They may hate Romney but as they have been thought, he is not a Keynen, he is not a socialist. What may be even more important is that Romney is not one of the Bla... people.
If the "person of authority" says it should be, then it will be.
I try to keep an open mind but I tire of the far right, especially the religious right. I have to deal with one of them from time to time.
Believe me, it can wear you down.

just the right size and in the right places... It might make a fine speaker cabinet.
Can't say as much for Romney.

Time to start GOTV efforts for President Obama and all Democratic legislative candidates. It's never too early.
