2. It would not and did not work in the 80's and will not work today.

This is a GOP platform which they just keep repeating over and over. I do believe if not for the righteous right and the old Dixiecrats the GOP would have given up the ghost several years ago. The righteous right votes on a single issue of anti abortion and the Dixiecrats still thinks the south is going to rise again and segregation will return. Ergo, we have these two groups voting against their best interest and hiving wins to the GOP. Reagan came in to bust unions and started the downfall of wages and benefits to those on the lower end. We know how to survive on a little, we deserve better.
