Now I've Heard Everything - Boehner Edition

John Boehner is issuing ultimatums to the President on immigration.

House Speaker John Boehner gave President Barack Obama an ultimatum on the border crisis: secure the border or you’re not getting any money.

In a letter to President Obama on Wednesday afternoon, Boehner said the House will not authorize the president’s request for emergency funds unless there are changes to the 2008 human trafficking law that allows immigrants from non-contiguous countries to seek asylum in the U.S., the law Republicans believe is at the root of the surge of immigrants, often minors, fleeing Central America into the United States.

“As I have said many times, the American people will not support providing additional money unless you work with both parties to address the causes of this tragedy,” Boehner wrote.

Boehner Ultimatum

So if I understand Rep. Shit-For-Brains correctly, he sure enough wishes there was some way to change the law. I mean, if only there was some sort of deliberative body in Washington that could revise an existing law and then send it to the President for authorization. Wouldn't that be an awesome fucking idea?

Wait. What? There is? There really is such a deliberative body in Washington? And What's that? Rep. Spray-On-Tan is one of the leaders of that deliberative body? How fucking coincidental is that?

Now he can just just draft a new law to replace the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Reauthorization Act -- which Rep. Numbnuts actually voted for back in 2008. So by all means, let's revise the law to make sex trafficking easier -- just so long as it makes all those brown children on our border go away. Back to unrelenting starvation and violence.

It's the right thing to do.

You're a Republican, Rep. Asshat, and that means you're a god-fearing Christian. I'd like you to open your Bible to Matthew 19:14 and read that verse carefully, and then shove that Bible up your wrinkled ass.

I really can't take much more of these people.

they have not been making any because Republicans will block everything.

It is all part of the plan to blame Obama for the Republicans own blockade of governing.

Fucking media is also the problem, they cover for the obvious GOP hypocrisy at every turn.

You are so so right, fucking Congress makes the fucking laws, fucking dip wad Boehner.
Do not hold your breath that the media will ask him about that.

If Obama does that by Executive Order, then he's being a tyrant.

Jesus, is there some reason why the American people haven't shown up outside the Capitol Building with pitchforks?

Boehner's not really in a position to talk about what "the American people" will or will not support. His party doesn't hold the White House, having been routed in 2012. His party doesn't hold the Senate, having been routed in 2012. His party polled a couple million fewer votes in the House, but was saved by their rigging of the system. So, the American people, when last asked, pretty definitively repudiated the Republicans and their do-nothing ways.

Luckily for the Republicans, there isn't one journalist in our popular media who would dare to point out these facts while they're breathing their patent nonsense.

A liver damaged by cirrhosis isn't able to clear toxins from the blood as well as a healthy liver can. Toxins in the blood can cause mental confusion and difficulty concentrating.
