in your post that healthcare should be provided for "everyone on the planet". Does that mean that Americans would pay for American healthcare....Ugandans would pay for Ugandan healthcare...etc.

Does everyone have the right to a newly discovered drug that might cure a disease even if it costs a million dollar to produce? What about recovery of research costs? Would not the momentum in researching new drugs slow if those who invested in the drug research and approval couldn’t recoup their costs?

Does every medical action require 'reasonable effort' to save lives, or 'best effort'? What do those mean?

What about acupuncture? New Age crystal healing? Christian Science "praying" treatments?

Does toothpaste constitute a 'treatment' for a medical/dental need and therefore needs to be free?

Just blanket statements like "Free healthcare" have no nuance as to what constitute healthcare... One must explicitly say what is a right and on what principle they are acting.

Rights are funny things, they really do not exist if they cannot be delivered and guaranteed by a body that has the authority to guarantee deliverance and protection of said right. If the government collapses due to a major catastrophe and the means of providing, guaranteeing and protecting our "right" to health care goes with it then what are you left with? You can ask the same with miltary invasion, collapse of social order, anarchy, natural catastrophe.

Human rights are guaranteed (or maybe authorized is a better word) by each individual
Country's constitution or charter.

They could rest or balance a plate on their heads. Or they could have them put it on their laps.

Or lying down on a table and placing the various portions about their torso.
