not just cable news and I would still have to say "none of the above".

I take everything with a grain of salt.

The question of which president we trusted was posed in another OP and only gave two choices, neither of which I could really say I trusted. It was a false choice, a bad poll and completely ridiculous.

They're off base far less often than most of the supposed 'News' networks.

to deliver heaps of shit daily, served on a silver platter by some brainless bimbo.

I trust msnbc to fire Keith O. but keep Joe Scar.

I trust CNN to be fairly honest in the reporting of the weather.

FOX is 24/7 propaganda.

I trust CNN to report on the big international events.

That was laughable.

But yes, there is a difference, but neither is one I would ever be able to say a simple "I trust them" without a caveat. That would mean I do not distrust them and I place my faith in them to do their jobs correctly even without my scrutiny. And I would never say that about my president, which is what the poll this is modeled after did. Anyone who can just say I trust my president without any caveat is a blind follower who does not understand how democracy actually works.

The other poll was a choice of did we trust Obama or Putin. That is a completely false choice to begin with and a very dangerous way of thinking.

Everything is becoming black/white, right/wrong, left/right, trust/don't trust...

Even the people who aren't that stupid get dragged into fighting over those false dichotomies.

We're all becoming caricatures of where we fall on the political spectrum.

Nor do I trust any that are not on your list....
They all, basically tell us the same oft times speculative, fact challenged (sans backstory) "stories" using different people with different styles.....Little to learn...just too much to argue about...keeping us divided...
There are few highlights to be garnered these days...but then, I was lucky to grow up with authentic journalists like Cronkite, Murrow, Huntley, Brinkley etc
