Well, it might. But, it wouldn't help them much. Latinos hate her hard stance on immigration and on social programs and social issues. She downplays her Hispanic heritage too much except around voting time when she embraces it to pander to Latino voters. It's sometimes a stretch to believe that just because you tap a person of a certain gender or ethnic group to help you win in an election, that it'll happen. Look at Sarah Palin. The demographic that hates her the most is women. I don't think Martinez will appeal to too many of us Hispanics. We know malinchistas when we see them.

Before I left my job the political calls I had to do...You wouldn't believe the racists I talked too called Obama the N word and everything. The tape message is full of coded messages AND the scripts are full of "encouragement" "If Something DRAMATIC isn't done soon to get rid of Obama..."
